Every new mailbox starts at 5 sends/day and ramps ×1.25 per day toward your target. A circuit breaker watches your 7-day bounce + complaint rates and auto-pauses any mailbox that crosses unsafe thresholds, so a bad send doesn't cascade into a banned domain.
OAuth via Google requires CASA Tier 2 verification — a months-long process and ongoing audits. SMTP/IMAP works with any provider (Gmail, M365, Zoho, your custom domain) on day one, encrypts credentials at rest with AES-256-GCM, and never locks you into our sending infrastructure.
The IMAP poller detects the reply within minutes and immediately marks the enrollment REPLIED. All remaining steps for that contact are cancelled. You can't accidentally send "just following up" after they've already responded.
Multi-tenancy is enforced at the database layer via Postgres Row-Level Security. Every query is automatically scoped to your tenant — even a bug in our application code can't leak another tenant's data because the database itself rejects it.
